The Bannock County Sheriff’s Office and Bannock County Detention Center are the first contacts for a county booking, current detention question, or county-held intake photo. The office page lists administrative hours Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Call before visiting because Records Bureau, detention, visitation, and pickup services may follow different procedures.

Use the route that matches the record:

• For a Bannock County booking record or intake photo, use the home page’s records-request path, the Sheriff form, and the Records Bureau.
• For a possible warrant, use the Sheriff app feature and the court-facing steps on Wanted Fugitives. Do not approach anyone shown in a notice.
• For a recent county arrest event, check the Sheriff’s AlertSense reports and the current app roster.
• For a release or custody-change notification, use the county detention direction to VINE or call detention.
• For a Pocatello-created police report or photograph, use the Pocatello Police Records Division and city portal.
• For a Chubbuck-created report or photograph, submit the department’s written and signed request form.
• For a sentenced state prisoner, probationer, or parolee, use the Idaho Department of Correction Resident/Client Search.
• For a federal prisoner, use the BOP inmate locator. For an immigration detainee, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. A local county booking may not appear in either federal system.

For a court case, start with Idaho iCourt and contact the Bannock County Clerk for a document, certified copy, audio, or record that is not available online. A booking photograph is not assumed to be a court record.
