Why These Sources Are Separate
Idaho makes many arrest and booking details available through public-record systems, but the record is not kept in one universal database. The Bannock County Sheriff’s Office operates the county detention system and Records Bureau. Its current roster path is the Sheriff app, while AlertSense publishes dated Sheriff reports. The Bannock County Detention Center page describes detention and VINE information.
Pocatello Police and Chubbuck Police can create their own incident reports and photographs. McCammon follows the county Sheriff path because the county identifies that office as the town’s sole law-enforcement agency. The Bannock County Clerk and Idaho iCourt hold filed court material. The Idaho Department of Correction publishes a different search for state custody and supervision.
The official Sheriff app page, Detention Center page, and IDOC search are among the source links used throughout the reference pages.
The Bannock County record hub puts those roles in order so that a current custody question is not confused with a recent arrest report, a court disposition, or a state-corrections profile. The distinction also explains why a booking photo can be missing from a public app even when an intake record exists.
What This Reference Includes
The pages are organized around the county’s real systems and the three city pages resolved from the Census-based map.
- The home page carries the full search, booking-record, app roster, AlertSense, detention, records-request, law, court, retention, and custody-state treatment.
- Pocatello, Chubbuck, and McCammon each have a distinct city page based on the local police or Sheriff path, rather than a copied county paragraph.
- Wanted Fugitives explains the Pocatello warrant publication, the county app’s warrant feature, safe tips, and court-facing confirmation.
- Arrest News maps the Sheriff reports, local outlets, selective photo use, secondary indexes, and the route from a story to a court record.
- The Bannock County Detention Center receives a full treatment through the county-wide pages. No separate facility pages are created.
- Records topics are separated by the Sheriff, Pocatello Police, Chubbuck Police, the Clerk, or IDOC according to who created or holds the material.
Official sources lead each topic. Local news and third-party indexes are identified as secondary, with a warning that they may lag, omit a record, or retain stale material.
What We Cannot Do
Bannock County Busted Mugshots is privately operated. It has no connection with the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office, the detention center, Pocatello Police, Chubbuck Police, the courts, the Idaho Department of Correction, or any other government agency. It does not hold the official roster or court file.
- It cannot release, transfer, or confirm a person in custody.
- It cannot post bond, schedule a visit, send money, or change a jail record.
- It cannot issue a booking photo, correct a police report, or alter a court docket.
- It cannot give legal advice or decide which legal process applies.
- It cannot guarantee that a phone number, fee, address, app field, or publication date remains current.
Only the originating office can confirm current custody, charges, release, or the availability of a record. A private reference page cannot make that determination or replace the underlying government record and court file.
Search Partners
Some pages contain search boxes supplied by outside providers. Those providers set their own pricing, results, and data practices. If a tool leads to a paid signup, Bannock County Busted Mugshots may receive a referral fee. That fee helps support the reference pages and does not give the site control over the partner’s service.
A partner search is not the same as the official Sheriff app, AlertSense report, Bannock County records response, Pocatello or Chubbuck police file, Idaho court record, or IDOC result. An authoritative answer remains controlled by the originating government record and the court.
